You feel obliged to win the auction. I did the same. On one of my cars I have a 3x3. Where the numbers are 888 (lucky numbers in Chinese). a while back I saw the same plate in reverse (so if mine was 888 ABC, this was ABC 888). I was a cheapskate and tried to knock them down on price and then lost out on it. Really wish I had just paid the money and bought it.
