So the radius arms came off fairly easily, one of the bushes fell to bits when it came off so they really were shot and one looked new but it had been tightened with the wheel hanging down so spent it's life twisted and failed early which is a common mistake when fitting bushes.Supercharger oil has been changed too, and the drivers window does indeed need a new regulator which is hopefully arriving today along with the part to fix the floppy wing mirror.Hopefully picking up tomorrow although there are some Shed Logistics challenges because my XKR is off to WBAC on Saturday morning after they upped their offer by £1,200 overnight so I can't leave it in London as I'd planned because none of the paperwork is here. It's amazing how awkward moving cars around can be, particularly when you live between two places.I think when all is done and the tyres are changed the car will owe me about £12.5k which is bottom of the market but not really much cheaper than you can go and buy one for privately and inspect before you buy. I've got very very lucky with heaps of work done and very little needed to get it pretty much tip top, but there are almost no real savings to be made going for auction cars vs private so I can't say I'd advise my "devil may care" approach to DB7 purchasing because this could very easily have gone a different way.Edited by GeniusOfLove on Wednesday 13th May 10:35
