증상
랙 앤 피니언 스티어링 유닛의 개별 부품(특히 피니언)을 구입할 수 있는지 문의. 피니언 기어에 이빨이 손상되었지만 랙은 정상이므로 전체 시스템을 $250에 교체하고 싶지 않음. 랙/피니언 어셈블리 부품 검색 방법이 있는지 궁금함.
처리 내용
과거에는 개별 부품을 판매했으나, 현재는 리컨디셔닝된 유닛(보증 포함)의 인기도가 높고 유닛을 분해 및 재조립하는 데 시간이 많이 걸리기 때문에 완성된 유닛을 장착하는 것이 더 빠름. 직접 재조립하려면 양호한 피니언이 있는 중고 유닛을 찾는 것이 한 가지 방법이 될 수 있음.
