증상
솔리드 리어 액슬 프로젝트 카에 순정 코일오버 옵션이 없음. 충격/스프링 콤보를 로우 쇼크 마운트에 부착하는 것에 대한 경고들이 있음. 로우 마운트가 모든 하중을 지탱하기에 너무 약해 보임.
처리 내용
엔지니어 의견: 불가능함. 로우 마운트 강화 브래킷으로도 힘 처리 불가능하고, 지오메트리가 완전히 잘못되며, 액슬 로케이션이 제대로 되지 않아 계속 비틀림. 더 나은 방법은 기존 스프링 내부에 댐퍼를 포함시키고 액슬의 기존 스프링 퍼치를 사용하는 것. 이 영역만이 현수 하중을 처리할 수 있는 충분한 강도와 올바른 위치를 가짐. 다른 방법으로는 전문 용접공이 '공여' 액슬의 로우 스프링 퍼치를 제거하고 정확히 같은 위치(액슬의 전후 중심선)에 보이는 브래킷 스타일을 확실하게 용접하는 것. 이렇게 하면 로우 코일오버 마운트는 해결되지만, 상부는 아무데나 갈 수 없으며 적절한 강도도 필요함. 더 큰 엔진과 더 많은 HP/토크를 처리하기 위해 솔리드 액슬을 설치하는 경우, 액슬 트위스트를 처리하기 위해 트레일링 암(arm) 또는 최소한 스너버(snubber)도 필요함.
