Comparison with other nations using a measure calibrated differently is pointless too.Me? I'm just waiting for the daily death toll of "people who have died within 28 days of receiving a Covid-19 vaccination". Because it will be just as meaningful as the "within 28 days of a positive test" guff. And it will be happening. After all, we've placed over 80s at the head of the queue, so some of them will inevitably croak soon after getting jabbed, it's a statistical certainty. But there'll be no recording of deaths soon after vaccination, or if there is it won't be publicised for fear of "handing ammo to the 'anti-vaxxers' campaign".
