증상
2012 스코다 옥타비아 1.4 TSI DSG7에서 느린 회전(예: 유턴) 중에 차가 엔진 꺼질 듯 떨린다. RPM은 낮지만 안정적이며, 엔진이 저RPM 상태로 들린다. 스티어링 휠에 미세한 진동이 있으며, 스로틀을 더 밟을수록 증상이 심해진다. 트랜스미션/클러치 문제인지, 프런트 스티어링/서스펜션 유닛 문제인지, 아니면 다른 원인인지 의문.
처리 내용
스티어링 휠을 끝까지(좌측 또는 우측) 꺾는 것을 '스티어링 크램핑'이라고 한다. 스티어링을 한쪽 끝까지 꺾고 그 상태를 유지하면, 랙 앤 피니언이 계속해서 유압유를 보내려 하지만 스티어링 메커니즘이 더 이상 움직일 수 없어 유압 시스템으로 압력파가 역류한다. 이로 인해 유압 펌프가 순간적으로 정지되어 엔진 회전수가 떨어진다. 해결 방법: 스티어링 크램핑을 하지 말 것. 스티어링 휠을 바퀴가 회전할 수 있는 범위의 끝까지만 꺾고, 그 이상 꺾지 말 것. 어차피 그 이상 회전하지 않으므로 불필요한 문제를 야기하지 않아야 한다.
