연비가 신차 때보다 떨어졌음. 4.5년 경과, 60,000km 주행. 정기적으로 15,000km마다 엔진오일 교환(원래 오일: 0W-20). 예전엔 먼 거리 저속 통근, 현재는 단거리 고속 통근.
4.5년 경과한 엔진은 연비 측면에서 낡지 않음. 연비 차이는 주행거리, 노선, 운전 스타일의 차이 때문임. 고속도로 장거리 통근(신호등 없음)이 신호등 많은 단거리 통근보다 훨씬 효율적임. 단거리 통근에서는 교통 흐름 맞추기, 차선 변경 등으로 가속이 더 강하게 일어남. 제조사 권장 오일 점도로 돌아갈 것. 연비에 약간 영향을 미치지만, 저온 윤활성에 더 중요한 영향을 미침.
