증상
브레이크 페달을 밟을 때 쉬익하는 소리가 나고 페달이 바닥까지 내려가며 브레이크가 제대로 잡히지 않음. 항상 그런 것은 아니지만 대부분의 경우 발생. 남편이 최근에 새 브레이크 패드를 교체한 직후부터 시작됨.
처리 내용
페달을 펌프질해도 지속적으로 딱딱해지지 않으면: 페달이 바닥까지 내려가고 쉬익 소리가 난다는 점으로 볼 때 마스터 실린더가 불량이거나 브레이크액 누유가 있을 가능성이 높음. 쉬익 소리는 브레이크 부스터가 예상 이상으로 밀려나면서(페달이 바닥까지 내려감) 내부 러버 멤브레인이 미끄러지면서 진공 누수가 발생하는 것으로 추정됨. 어느 쪽이든 심각한 문제임. 운전하지 말고 즉시 정비소에서 점검받을 것.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.
