증상
2019 Honda Odyssey, 56,000마일. 양쪽 LBJ(Lower Ball Joint) 부트가 원형으로 찢어져 있음. 고무 건조 균열(dry rot) 같은 모양. 부트에서 그리스가 흘러나오지 않음. 스티어링 휠 회전 시 소음 없음. 부트를 누르면 약간 탄성 있고 저항감 있음. 부트 내부에 그리스가 아직 남아있는 것으로 보임.
처리 내용
현재 단계에서는 교체할 필요 없음. 다음 증상 중 하나가 나타날 때까지 대기: (1) 볼조인트에서 소음 발생, (2) 스티어링 느낌이나 핸들링에 문제 생김, (3) 타이어 편마모 발생. 증상 발생 시 컨트롤 암 어셈블리 교체 필요.
