1981 폭스바겐 래빗 픽업트럭(1.6 가솔린 엔진 스왑)의 스파크 플러그 소켓에서 오일 누유 발생. 누유는 1기통에서만 나타남. 이전에 밸브커버 가스켓 누유가 있었으나 이미 수리됨.
해당 기통에서 압축 및 누유 테스트(leakdown test)를 실시하세요. 1) 스파크 플러그 소켓을 통해 오일이 연소실로 들어가는지 확인: 플러그를 제거하여 전극과 나사산에 오일이 있는지 검사. 압축 및 누유 테스트 수행. 다른 기통의 플러그도 확인(피스톤 링 또는 밸브 씰 마모 여부 판단). 2) 스파크 플러그 소켓 밀폐 상태 확인: 누유 테스트 호스를 장착하고 기통에 공기압 주입. 소켓 베이스 주변에 비누수 혼합액을 분사하여 기포 발생 여부 확인. 압축 및 누유 테스트 수행. 소켓 구멍이 충분히 변형되어 누유가 발생한다면 실린더 헤드 교체 필요.
