증상

경사진 도로에서 타이어 펑크가 발생했고, 유압 잭으로 차량을 들어올릴 때 일정한 높이 이상에서 잭이 앞으로 넘어지면서 차가 앞으로 미끄러졌음. 같은 현상이 두 번 반복됨.

처리 내용

휠 초크(wheel chocks)를 사용하면 도움이 됩니다. 함께 핸드 브레이크를 당기고 수동변속기는 기어에 물려두고(자동변속기는 P 기어), 펑크타이어가 아닌 타이어 양쪽에 큰 돌멩이나 쐐기를 끼워서 고정하세요. 여러 타이어를 고정하는 것이 좋습니다. 러그 너트를 풀 때와 다시 조일 때 모두 펑크타이어는 지면에 두어야 합니다. 다만 경사면의 각도가 매우 가파르면 이러한 방법들도 효과가 없을 수 있으므로, 그런 경우 차량을 평탄한 곳까지 천천히 운전해가야 합니다. 또는 차량을 경사면에 수직이 되도록 향하게 하되 펑크타이어가 경사면의 높은 쪽에 오도록 배치할 수도 있습니다.
