Those who know me, know that I am not renowned for my reckless spending and therefore this has come as much as a surprise to me as anyone else.Last week I was quite happily living with my old e46 330, occasionally pondering what I might replace it with, but never seriously (I have had it for 6 years).Last Wednesday I got a phone call from a very stressed out wife, who had a tyre going flat on her Evoque. The rust mentioned is surface rust on the steel rear subframe.The engine rattle is a spring loaded damper for the supercharger, this was being replaced when I was there.If there any other issues or these are not sorted, I either don’t accept the car or it goes straight back.
