Some of you may know my thread on here, the big bangle booty 635D which is the previous generation to this one! That's just sailed off with it's new owner, and has been replaced with a thoroughly predictable 640D.I always really loved these when they came out, but they were never in budget! After a few years with the old 635D I started browsing and hadn't realised that they'd fallen into my reach.The search started for either a Coupe or the swoopy Gran Coupe. Thanks all, I'm very chuffed! There is a little dint to the bonnet too actually, which I don't think I'd noticed before - I think part of the same saga with the bumper, and the child on an E-Scooter. I'm keen to get it all sorted at a body shop soon so it's bang on.MPG wise in genuine mixed use, it's doing 40.9 after about 1000 miles. It'll do close to 50mpg if you're just sat on the motorway, there's a big jump from the 635D which it's partly new tec but mostly gearing. At 80mph the 635D was at 2200rpm, this is at 1800rpm - 6 speed Vs 8 speed for you I suppose.Some other short term things to tackle, I want to check on the infamous yellow grommet which can turn the cabin into a pool. No signs of it, but my last car greeted me with a puddle which was a pain.
