2014 Acura TSX, 4 Cylinder, AT, about 160k miles Two days ago when I got in my car, the brake pedal was really hard to press down. This was after it sat overnight, and it’s within single digits so extremely cold. The car was very difficult to stop and I had to press the brake pedal down with great force. I gave the brake pedal several hard presses in rapidly, and then everything was fine. I think it’s likely some moisture got in the brake booster or hose and froze? Looking on ShopKey, this car doesn’t appear to have a check valve in the hose that goes to the brake booster. I know some cars hav
When was the last time the brake fluid was flushed? Brake fluid by nature absorbs moisture out of the air. And if enough moisture is in the brake fluid that moisture will freeze creating a extremely hard brake pedal. Tester

Hi, I have Acura RDX 2015 model. Since I moved from Seattle to Kansas City, based on different temperature (which swings from 20 to near 100), I keep seeing different alert for tire pressure. My daily commute is around 50 miles. On my '95 Acura Integra LS, the driver's side outer tie rod is embedded in the steering knuckle. I am unable to loosen the jam-nut. How do I remove the outer tie rod from the steering knuckle? This photo shows that upward force applied by jack is insufficient to remove the outer tie rod. (The vehicle has been properly secured on jack stands.) 2014 Acura TSX, 157k miles, this car has an overflow coolant reservoir Yesterday I noticed a bubble sound when shutting off car. I noticed the coolant level in the reservoir was at the MIN mark. Thankfully the car didn’t run hot. After letting the car cool off, I toped it off to the MAX line. The problem is I did a complete drain and refill about 30k miles ago. This seems excessive to me, for the level to go from MAX to MIN in ~30k miles. I don’t know if this is normal? I haven’t noticed any leaks, but based on the rate I’m loosing coolant it seems like I’m loosing coolant somewhere. I didn’t

2012 Jeep Compav compass I noticed a persistent squealing coming from thr front end of my car (I think the front left). It happens when I have my foot on the accelerator and over 40-45 mph. It stops when I let my foot off the gas, and only occurs under load. This alone would take me to the engine, but it responds to me turning the wheel. It gets louder when turning right and quieter when left. It also stops when I let off gas. My original thought was brakes, but I wanted to see if the community had an idea. Thanks!

2004 Camry with about 160K miles (and I hope to drive it until the kids take away my keys in a few years). For the last month or two, sometimes when I’m slowing gently almost to a stop, I get what I think is ABS activation: loudish fast pulsing sound (roughly five pulses/sec; almost a vibration) that I can feel in the brake pedal. Maybe more likely on a slow speed turn while braking (I do a half-K turn to back into my driveway). Is that ABS? Does this require fast attention? Hi everyone! I recently bought a 2016 Tacoma SR5 2.7L 4WD with 70k mi. At idle in D or R like at a red light (idles around 550rpm) the truck vibrates. Sometimes it’s bad and shakes my head and eyes and feels like someone is kicking my seat. It tends to get worse the longer I sit at a red light. It’s worse with the brake pedal pressed, but happens a bit in drive with the parking brake on and not pushing the brake pedal. I am here with another question Civic (european version) sedan 2010 80k miles. I have a situation which s been going on for long time and it only gets worse.
