This new plan and a change of leasing company from a local to global offering gave us the opportunity to chop in our current lease cars, pay the small early termination fee (£150) and take the cash..We had been waiting for around 6 months for a decision from HR. In usual HR fashion, we got an email last Tuesday and an agreement was made for mine to be returned this week and the cash allowance (and significant BIK liability saving) to start from the next pay day.I'm quite a decisive person, done my homework and knew that I wanted a Model Y LR, found this one at a VW dealer in the Midlands (who were great), spec:Midnight Silver (it's grey ffs)Black leather 20" wheels (brand new Pilot Sport EV tyres)2 years old35kTowbar (won't be required)LR modelJust under a 50% reduction from RRP So 8 days between HR sending the email and this being on my drive. My son loves it, and I managed to nearly make the Wife vomit with the acceleration (it's mad).Drives amazingly well on the motorway, crashy round town but I love itAlready tested out the Superchargers and it works an absolute dream...It's going to 'save' me around £350/month with the allowance, BIK saving and fuel savings so not to be sniffed at.I will

My G42 is back at BMW for the second round of headlight replacement - this time it’s just diagnosis as the revised parts aren’t available yet but i wanted to be in the queue for their eventual availability. Why am I posting about this on my MINI thread? Well, look at the courtesy car they’ve given me!Obviously it’s huge and ugly as sin but I quite like the interior. God knows what this list price on it would be. It’s JCW spec with seemingly all the options ticked. I can’t imagine they sell a huge number, but as small(ish) family SUV’s go it’s at least offering something a bit different.

I met my Dad for a drink and - as is often the case - the topic of discussion turned to cars. Whilst sat in the beer garden we had a brief look Autotrader, after which followed the subject of E Class coupes, and how much of a bargain they are. Back from holiday so the car was collected today and deposited safely at the bodyshop. It was greeted by a 1991 Sierra Cosworth fresh out of the booth following some light restoration so I’m very much hoping the MINI looks as good when I next see it!
