증상
97년식 토요타 캠리 LE 3.0 (160,000마일)에서 1년 이상 간헐적인 시동 문제 발생. 때로는 한 번에 시동이 걸리지만, 때로는 10번을 시도해야 시동이 걸림. 시동 후에는 완벽하게 작동함. 지난주 시속 45km에서 갑자기 엔진이 꺼졌으나, 어깨쪽으로 옮겨가던 중 RPM이 올라오면서 다시 작동하기 시작. 다음날 같은 증상 반복 (RPM 회복 없음).
처리 내용
크랭크축 위치 센서(Crankshaft Position Sensor) 고장 의심. 크랭크축 센서 불량은 엔진 타이밍 문제로 나타남. 설명된 증상(간헐적 시동 불량, 주행 중 갑작스러운 실화)이 크랭크축 센서 고장의 전형적인 증상임. 진단 및 교체 권장.
