Unhappy Pristine Competition winner on Facebook….It's great winning a prize, except when the prize turns out to be rusty as fk underneath. Is misfiring, 3 scraped alloys and a dent/ scratch on the bonnet. When contacted pristine competitions they really just said oh the cars 21 year old you'd expect a bit if rust and marks. Except you shouldn't in my opinion(as a prize advertised as unmarked)There's about 4 subarus at the minute as prizes on Facebook and they're all immaculate, including underneath. Some Irish guy rang me up and was nothing but abusive, swearing and saying his heads gonna come off, and said they'd give me the cash and collect the car. That's not what I wanted that why I went to collect the car. The cash alternative is way below what the cars worth or can buy for. There's a few similar experiences with pristine online so it's not a one off. Played with them for years in the hope to win something and the prize is a rot box what they've not inspected at all before put up as a prize. All I've asked for is the quote I've got to repair even just the body work and the misfire and they just said no Utter s. Set up a page to see if they'll just do the right thing.
