2004년형 포드 포커스 Mk1 스테이션왜건의 클러치 교환 후 자동차가 왼쪽으로 심하게 끌려서 계속 핸들을 수정해야 함. 제동할 때 악화되며 제동 중 손을 놓으면 핸들이 조금 회전함. 클러치 교환 전에는 이 문제가 없었음. 자동차가 한 달간 카포트에서 잭 스탠드 위에 있었음.
처리 내용
정렬(alignment) 불량과 토인(toe-in) 설정 오차가 복합적으로 작용한 것으로 해결됨. 목공용 줄(마소너리 코드)을 이용한 DIY 휠 정렬로 수정: 핸들을 직진 위치에서 고정하고 자동차를 앞뒤로 굴린 후, 왼쪽 앞 바퀴의 토인이 왼쪽으로 약간 외향(toe-out)되어 있는 것을 발견. 15인치 휠에서 앞뒤 측정값의 차이가 2mm, 토인 오차 약 1mm 확인됨. DIY 정렬 방법: 길고 늘어나지 않는 밝은 색 줄을 사용하고 매우 길게 설치. 자동차 앞뒤에서 같은 거리로 줄을 평행하게 정렬. 뒷 휠과 평행이 되도록 눈대중으로 조정. 측정 위치를 휠/줄에 페인트로 표시. 항상 같은 각도(직각 90도)에서 측정할 것.

2019 Dodge Ram 5.7L HEMI, 100km 미만. 브레이크 작업 후 시운전 중 풀 스로틀로 0-70mph까지 한 번 가속 후 발생. 엔진 미스파이어 시작, 체크 엔진 라이트 깜박임. 리듬컬한 탭탭탭 소리 발생(collapsed lifter 유사음). 2/3 스로틀 이상에서만 발생, 정상 주행 시에는 미스만 있고 해머링음 없음.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.
