Jap90s said: I too change my car a very regularly I have had many faster and in theory better cars than the MX5 (I've owned every model) including turbo and supercharged versions The thing about the MX-5 is it's so usable, unlike most cars the hood goes down in 2 seconds so I put it down every trip no matter how short, unless it's raining It feels quick at sensible speeds and doesn't have too much grip or too much weight and everything just worksI've got an ND Sport Recaro, which I searched for as I wanted the seats I wasn't going to modify it as I have other modified toys and this was just to use as a daily but I couldn't resist, standard it didn't really want to rev out so I fitted a decat manifold which solved the problem Although it rides beautifully as standard, I didn't like how high it sat so I fitted a set of koni adjustable suspension because unlike so many coil overs, they are comfortable at softer settings I also fitted a sound tube so I could hear the engine better but recently bought a stainless steel performance back box, I haven't fitted it yet as I'm concerned it might be too noisy but I'll give it to go The only thing I miss is a V8 soundtrack but you just can't a thrash one on the road as you end up at prison speeds, if only there was a 2.0 V8 Edited by Jap90s on Thursday 20th August 08:06 Ariel made a 3.0 V8 with 500bhp....
