증상
스티어링 휠이 약 10도 오른쪽으로 치우쳐 있음. 직진 주행 시 스티어링 휠을 오른쪽으로 약 10도 유지해야 함. 휠이 직진하면 왼쪽으로 약간 꺾이려고 함. 특별한 원인 없이 갑자기 발생. 그 외 조향 느낌과 거동은 정상.
처리 내용
전문 정렬 시설에서 4휠 얼라인먼트 검사 필수. 특히 '스러스트 앵글(thrust angle)' 값을 확인해야 함. 이것은 DIY 작업이 아님. 스티어링 휠이나 스티어링 컬럼을 직접 조정하면 안 됨 - 이렇게 하면 스티어링 랙의 중심이 옆으로 밀려나가고 기어 피치가 바뀌어 조향 감도와 직진 안정성이 손상됨. 우측 프론트 타이로드 길이가 짧아졌거나 작은 충격으로 부품이 위치가 바뀌었을 가능성이 높음. 전문가의 정확한 정렬 작업이 필요함.
