증상
E46 M3 후미 서스펜션 정비 중 트레일링 암의 상단 볼 조인트 부트가 손상된 것으로 보임. 상단 컨트롤 암이 부트를 밀어서 변형됨. 작은 스크류드라이버로 부트를 다시 제자리에 끼우려고 시도했으나 완벽하게 복구되지 않음. 리테이닝 링은 제 위치에 있는 것으로 보이나 부트의 무결성 손상 우려.
처리 내용
부트에 눈에 띄는 찢김이나 그리스 누유가 없으면 정상 작동할 것으로 예상됨. 약간의 변형이 보이지만 명확한 찢김은 없으므로 계속 사용해도 괜찮음. 앞으로 몇 개월간 모니터링하면서 부트에 구멍이 생기는지 확인할 것. 부트가 볼 조인트의 일체형인지 분리형인지 확인 필요 - 일체형이면 손상 시 전체 볼 조인트 교체 필요, 분리형이면 부트만 교체 가능.

Hallo zusammen, bis vor ca. 2 Jahren gab es bei BMW doch immer die Möglichkeit, im sogenannten Vorvertragspool ein nach Wunsch konfiguriertes Auto einzustellen. Auf dieses Gesuch haben sich dann BMW Mitarbeiter/Werksangehörige gemeldet, die das Auto dann für einen bestellen wollten. Gibt es das nicht mehr? Die entsprechende Seite bei BMW existiert offenbar nicht mehr. Gruß marcelul
