I’m afraid I only trust people from Yorkshire!When I was at school it was called a Summer Ball and you wore your Dad’s twenty-year-old, ill-fitting dinner suit. It was hugely exciting and a lot of fun without people rolling up in exotic cars, so it’s sort of a shame that it’s gone the way of training shoes and other status symbols - often exhibited by those who can afford them least. Anyway, it was a nice feeling to help out and make someone’s day. I should probably do it more often.
