증상

2012 혼다 시빅 EX, 1.8L. OEM 콘티넨탈 ContiProContact P205/55R16 89H 타이어 3개(전륜 2개, 좌측 후륜)는 약 20,000마일 사용 중. 우측 후륜 타이어는 대형 볼트 관통으로 인해 신형 미쉐린 Primacy MXV4 P205/55R16 89H로 교체(약 60마일 주행). 기존 우측 후륜 타이어는 전문 수리점에서 플러그 및 패치 처리했으나 주기적으로 공기 누출 및 TPMS 경고 발생.

처리 내용

혼합된 타이어 규격이 조종성과 제동성에 영향을 미친다는 주장이 있으나, 실제로는 미미한 수준. 남은 수명과 등급이 유사하면 영향 최소화 가능. 다른 트레드 패턴으로 인한 습지 배수 효율 차이가 있을 수 있으나 실질적으로 감지 불가 수준. 조종성 변화는 무시할 수 있는 수준이며, 외관상의 불일치가 더 큰 우려 사항일 수 있음. 당분간 운행해도 무방하며, 나머지 타이어 마모 시 일괄 교체 권장.
