80마력 해양 디젤 엔진(요트), Parker/Racor 75500MAX 이중 연료필터 시스템 장착. 처음 2시간은 정상 작동 (-3" Hg), 그 후 진공압이 상승하여 최대 -20" Hg에 도달. 엔진 연료 부족으로 인한 실화 발생. 2번 필터로 전환해도 증상 지속.
연료 흡입 튜브의 부스러기 오염 확인. 제리캔을 연료 라인에 연결하면 엔진이 완벽하게 작동함(프라이밍 후). 프라이밍 펌프를 사용하여 공기를 탱크로 역분사. 여러 번의 강한 압축으로 흡입 튜브, 연료 선택 밸브, 기타 라인에서 부스러기를 탱크로 역류시킴.
