The ZEV target is achieved by two elements1) Sales2) Carbon creditsTo achieve the 33% 2026 target, the sales element only needs to be 24.6%, which was met in August, so the 33% target was achieved by thenEV's sold after the end of August are adding more ZEV credits into the system than are required for overall compliance. So far this is how each car company is doingEdited by SDK on Tuesday 6th October 14:17 Yeah we all know this bee
ashenfie said: Yeah we all know this been said many times, but it does not change what SMMT tell us.. Carbon credits = Expense to the seller (bad news). The dealers will be pre-registering and discounting from now to Xmas as they very well know car sales are going to be harder won this time of year, but not a loss like buying carbon credits. The SMMT are sending a message to the Government not you! - "The ZEV target is hard to achieve for our pay masters" It isn't, it's been met alreadyThe SMMT represents the car makers, they are funded by them, they want you to pay as much as possible for a car.

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option

Still as subtle as a brick in your face. Not for me.

Other than a slightly bulky rear end, I think that looks fantastic. 9/10. And it's a saloon, not another bloody SUV - hurrah!
