증상
엔진이 뜨거울 때 스타터가 작동하지 않음. 배터리에서 니트럴 세이프티 스위치(Neutral Safety Switch)로 직접 전선을 연결하면 시동이 걸림. 냉각 후에는 정상 시동됨.
처리 내용
해당 연식의 가장 흔한 문제는 배선 문제. 스타터 근처 배기 매니폴드 인근의 솔레노이드 스타트 터미널 배선이 소손된 경우가 많음. 점화 스위치도 소손될 수 있으므로 스위치와 커넥터에서 과열(소손) 흔적을 확인할 것. 스타터에 솔레노이드 히트 실드가 없으면 근본 원인이 될 수 있으므로 히트 실드 설치 권장. 매니폴드 근처 배선의 손상 및 소손 여부를 확인하고 필요시 교체할 것. 퓨즈박스에서 스타터까지의 전체 솔레노이드 회로(퓨즈박스 > 점화 스위치 > 니트럴 세이프티 스위치 > 스타터 솔레노이드)에서 문제를 찾을 것. 터미널과 배선의 과열 현상을 점검할 것. 솔레노이드 히트 실드가 장착된 신품 스타터로 교체할 것.

When Tesla gives you much the same with the added benefit of a luxury charging network?
