Nice work, I'm glad it feels better. Suspension is one of those things that you really notice how much better the car feels when it's done, even though you didn't think anything was that bad.Cadwell should give it a good bedding in session! Hope your have a cracking one.

After the massive high of the cliosport festival, I've struggled to get the motivation to do much to the clio. But I've got a track day at Bedford booked, as a farewell bonding trip before my eldest goes to Australia. So, fresh oil and filter. A made in Germany Mann filter instead of the usual mahle:Interesting hole pattern:The chaps I'm meeting at Bedford are in cars with 300hp+ more than the clio so to squeeze every last hp from the F4R, I've changed the spark plugs for some Renault branded ones (thanks to the cliosport.net forum)Old ones didn't look too bad. Not a huge milage, but a fair amount of heat: It was a bit damp under the intake, I suspect it's sealant on the breather plate. It's not that bad, so it can wait for the next big belt change (I think that'll be next year). 100% inspired by all the amazing cars I saw at cadwell, I've added some completely pointless bling under the bonnet. Then, as Bedford is tough on brakes, I've flushed the system with ATE TYP200. That pressure bleeder is fantastic. Far easier to use than the ezibleed, although getting the fill cap on the bleeder bottle took some effort as the plastic casting isn't amazing.

Massive bill for a simple fix. It got me think back to my dads mk3 mondeo which was meant to be a bumper off job to swap a headlight bulb. I think the 2nd gen Renault Megane was the same. What else is there out there that requires a degree in engineering, a 4 poster lift and a snap on lorry full of tools to change a fuse or something equally as easy?
