증상
2008 쉐보레 업랜더의 자동 레벨링 시스템(후미 하중 감지 시 공기를 펌프질하여 차량 수평 유지)이 큰 포트홀 충격 후 오작동. 센서가 후미 과하중 상태로 고착되어 시동 시마다 리어 서스펜션에 계속 공기를 주입. 초기에는 리어 서스펜션이 경직되었으나 운전 가능했으나, 계속 악화 중.
처리 내용
액슬과 차체 사이의 각도를 측정하는 기계식 링크와 센서 메커니즘이 있을 것으로 예상됨. 센서가 고착되었거나 손상되었거나 이물질이 끼어 정상 작동을 방해하고 있을 가능성이 높음. 차량 후미 하단부 접근 가능하면 메커니즘을 육안으로 확인하여 손상이나 이물질을 파악할 수 있으며, 제거하면 해결될 가능성 있음. 또는 센서 커넥터를 분리하여 시스템을 '언로드 상태'로 인식하게 속일 수도 있으나, 2008년식 같은 비교적 신형 차량은 중앙 컴퓨터(ECU)에서 센서 신호를 처리하므로 이 방법이 효과적이지 않을 가능성이 높음. 전문 정비소 방문 권장.
