증상
63 임팔라에서 새 마스터 실린더를 장착했는데, 63년식은 브레이크 라인이 하나지만 새 마스터는 2개의 포트가 있습니다. 제조사에서 필요 없는 포트용 플러그를 포함시켰는데, 플러그를 끼우고 단단히 조여도 브레이크액이 계속 새입니다. 스레드를 제대로 밀봉하는 방법이 뭔가요? 테플론 테이프를 써도 되나요, 아니면 브레이크액이 녹일까요?
처리 내용
테플론 테이프는 브레이크액에 녹지 않으며 플러그를 밀봉할 수 있습니다. 다만 플러그 자체에 더 큰 문제가 있거나 제대로 앉지 않았을 수 있습니다. 또한 플러그를 충분히 조이지 않았을 가능성도 있습니다. 둘째로, 마스터 실린더에서 올바른 포트를 사용했는지 확인하세요. 테플론(PTFE - 폴리테트라플루오로에틸렌)은 화학적으로 가장 비반응성인 물질 중 하나입니다. 화학적 특성상 알칼리 금속 같은 반응성 금속 외에는 거의 영향을 받지 않습니다. 브레이크액이나 마스터/플러그에 사용된 금속에는 테플론을 손상시킬 수 있는 물질이 없습니다. 테플론은 극저온(−79°C)에서도 유연성을 유지하고 높은 강도와 자체 윤활 특성을 가집니다. 먼저 플러그가 제대로 앉아있는지, 충분히 조여졌는지 다시 확인해보세요.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.
