BMW 5시리즈 세단(F10) | 103,700km | 9월 초 폭우 이후 엔진 시작 시 체크 엔진 등 점등. 조수석 플로어매트가 완전히 젖어있고, 리어시트 쪽에 3cm 이상 물이 고여있음. 콘솔에 경고 메시지 표시되나 스티어링 조작은 정상. 리어 실내 물 제거 후에도 증상 지속. 액티브 스티어링 유닛이 조수석 발 공간 카펫 아래 장착되어 있으며, 물에 잠김.
처리 내용
BMW 5시리즈 세단(F10) | 액티브 스티어링 유닛 교환 | 103,700km | 침수 원인: 차량 내부 누수로 인한 실내 물 고임. 조수석 하단부 카펫 아래 장착된 액티브 스티어링 유닛(Aktive Lenkung Steuergerät)이 물에 노출되어 전자부품 손상. 석유 펌프로 물을 제거했으나 전자 부품은 이미 손상됨. 해결책: (1) 차량의 누수 원인 확인 및 수리 (도어 실 또는 선루프 관련 검토), (2) 내부 완전 건조 처리, (3) 손상된 액티브 스티어링 유닛 교체, (4) 교체 후 스티어링 시스템 코딩 및 재설정 필요. 전자장비 손상이므로 단순 건조로는 복구 불가.

Possibly a strange topic for some, but I’ve always had a fascination with headlamp washers, and in particular systems that involve wipers. I’ve had a couple, namely a Saab 900 and an E30 BMW.
