증상
타이어 마모 패턴 발생. 정기적인 얼라인먼트 시술 후에도 지속됨. 차량은 약 20년식, 주행거리 135,000마일. Scion (Toyota)
처리 내용
원인은 캠버 문제를 유발하는 서스펜션 부품 마모로 추정됨. 얼라인먼트 점검에 대해 - 대부분의 차량은 리어 얼라인먼트 조정이 불가능함. 리어는 조정 포인트가 없기 때문에, 얼라인먼트를 정기적으로 점검해도 리어에서는 실제 조정 작업이 불가능함. 점검만 가능하고 조정은 할 수 없음. 부시 마모로 인해 코너링 중 캠버가 자동으로 변하면, 얼라인먼트 점검 시에는 정상으로 나타나도 실제로는 타이어 마모를 유발할 수 있음. 마모된 서스펜션 부품(특히 부시) 점검 필요.

Winter 1993. On my way to the office, I'm slightly distracted by changing the music or something and I don't notice the rush hour traffic has come to a halt - I brake hard but manage to hit the Fiesta.
