증상
2007 Honda Accord SE, 47,000km. 주행 중 삑삑거리는 소음 발생 - 브레이크 패드 마모 경고음으로 추정. 원래 패드를 교체한 적 없이 타이어 로테이션 시마다 검사해옴. 새 패드를 앞뒤로 구입하여 교체 작업 시작. 뒷바퀴 패드 상태가 더 심해 보임. 승객 측 아우터 패드는 완전히 소모되었고, 마모 경고 표시가 있는 이너 패드는 약 2.5~3mm 정도 남아있음.
처리 내용
일반적으로 동시에 장착된 패드의 경우 앞 패드가 뒷 패드보다 빠르게 마모되지만, 주행 방식, 브레이크 사용 환경, 유지보수 상태에 따라 달라짐. 뒷 패드가 먼저 마모되는 것은 리어 캘리퍼가 고착되어 있을 가능성이 높음 (캘리퍼가 마운트에서 자유롭게 슬라이드되지 않음). 캘리퍼를 분리한 후, 피스톤이 자유롭고 부드럽게 슬라이드/나선되는지 확인하여 캘리퍼 고착 여부 검사. 피스톤이 정상이면 캘리퍼와 마운팅 슬라이드 레일에서 그리스와 이물질을 철저히 제거 및 청소. 청소 후 캘리퍼 그리스를 접촉면에 소량 도포하여 패드와 캘리퍼를 다시 장착. **주의: 브레이크 마찰면에는 절대로 그리스가 묻지 않도록 주의.**

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.
