Dipped beam is definitely brighter and more uniform and the lasers (along with the adaptive LEDs) have the cornering lamps as well which help at low speeds/urban roads. Unfortunately they've done away with the swivelling functionality that was there in previous years/models (my G20 preLCI had that) but it's not a huge loss. Auto-high beam and the matrix functionality are brilliant, you essentially are in high beam all the time once you go over the speed threshold and it creates the tunnels for cars in front of you/coming the other way or signs that might reflect too much. Laser functionality is impressive as well although more limited in the sense that you need to have a completely empty road ahead of you for it to kick in. Motorway commuting is around 54 mpg and when I have to go to London it drops to around 40-41.
