대부분의 연료 시스템에는 압력 스위치가 장착되어 있습니다. 처음 전원을 인가할 때 연료 시스템은 가압되지 않은 상태입니다. 연료펌프가 켜져서 엔진이 시동할 수 있도록 압력을 높입니다. 연료 시스템이 설계된 압력에 도달하면 펌프가 꺼집니다. 자세히 들으면 엔진이 운전 중일 때 압력을 유지하기 위해 펌프가 간헐적으로 재작동하는 소리가 들립니다.
