It looks great Before last week, I'd only driven it once since October, as I was waiting for a slot to become available at the paintshop, which will now be done this coming winter. It's as special as ever. Such a comfortable car on a long journey. The seats are perfect. Great visibility. Temperatures are fine even in slow traffic. I still think, even after all this time and a lot of tweaking, the engine isn't pulling quite as smoothly as it should below about 4500rpm. Above that, it just wants to take off. That said, I'm increasingly wondering if it's nearly time to swap it for a Rolls, and glide into my twilight years in a more sedate and less sinister way. But, I'll never own another Colombo V12 again, and I don't want to regret moving it on. Once it's repainted, it'll be cossetted more than it has been. Let's see. Won't be for another couple of years yet, I think.
