증상

겨울 타이어 장착 중 한 타이어가 여름 동안 공기가 빠져 있음(1 바, 2.5에서 감소). 2.5 바로 펌프질 후 트렁크에 1주일 보관했더니 1.5 바로 감소. 시도한 조치: 2.5 바로 펌프질, 욕조에 림까지 담가 거품 확인, 비누물 분사로 천천히 회전하며 확인(밸브 및 타이어-휠 림 포함), 밸브가 단단히 앉아 있는지 확인, 나선 약 1/4바퀴 더 조임. 누공을 찾지 못함.

처리 내용

쉽게 찾을 수 없다면 타이어샵에 방문하여 비드 시트를 다시 설정하도록 함. 타이어를 완전히 분리할 필요는 없으며, 비드를 림에서 분리한 후 접촉면을 세정하고 새로운 마운팅 그리스(비누물 또는 타이어샵에서 사용하는 제품)를 도포하여 비드를 다시 설정하면 됨. 밸브 스템에서 누공이 없고 타이어 자체에 천공이 없다면, 거의 유일하게 누공이 발생할 수 있는 곳은 비드(타이어와 림의 접촉부)임.
