증상
중고 타이어 구매 시 제조 날짜 스탬프를 확인했는데 일부 타이어의 날짜 표시가 변조된 것으로 의심됨. 대부분의 타이어는 볼록하게 올라온 글자 형태이지만, 일부 타이어는 들어간 글자(스탬프 형태)로 마치 그 부분을 샌딩하고 새로운 날짜를 다시 스탬프한 것처럼 보임. 이러한 타이어가 불량 타이어인지 의심스러움.
처리 내용
타이어의 날짜 코드는 타이어 제조 과정에서 몰드(금형)를 통해 형성됩니다. 2000년 이후 제조된 타이어는 마지막 4자리 숫자가 제조 주차와 연도를 나타냅니다(예: 5107은 2007년 51주차). 2000년 이전 타이어는 해당 십년 내의 주차와 연도를 나타내는 코드를 사용했습니다. 타이어 글자의 형태(볼록함/들어감)가 다르다는 것은 제조사마다 다를 수 있으나, 동일 타이어 세트에서 날짜 표시 방식이 다르거나 스탬프 흔적이 보인다면 날짜 위조 가능성이 있습니다. 구매 지역의 타이어 제조 규정을 확인하고, 의심스러운 경우 구매를 피하는 것이 좋습니다.

Been and collected it this lunchtime after another test drive and I read the codes whilst out & about and thankfully zero issues Will collect the 18" alloys & winter tyres ASAP and then sell the 403Ms off; they've just been refurbed but a) I don't like them that much, b) not a fan of black wheels at all and c) the RFTs are crap Parts already been ordered (OEM velour mats and M Sport grilles via Cotswolds BMW) and a full oil & filter change kit etcThe parts list will continue to grow haha
