증상
10년된 자동차가 오래 사용하지 않아 차고에 있다가 최근 과열 문제 발생. 정비소에서 서모스탯 교체 후 이상한 문제 발생. 아침에 시동(12시간 미사용 후)은 완벽하게 잘 걸림. 그러나 30분 정도 주행 후 시동을 껐다가 다시 시동하려고 하면 거의 시동이 안 걸림. 엑셀 페달을 밟아야 시동이 걸림.
처리 내용
타이밍 벨트를 확인해야 함. 특히 마모된 표시가 있으면 정비소에서 벨트를 제거할 때 치수를 정확히 기록했는지 확인 필요. 서모스탯 교체를 위해 벨트 제거가 맞는 작업이지만, 제거 과정에서 냉각수가 벨트에 묻었을 가능성 있음(벨트에 좋지 않음). 공장 스펙을 확인해서 각 위치 사이의 정확한 이빨 개수를 세어보기. 캠기어가 2개 이빨만 어긋나도 연비, 가속도, 공회전이 나빠짐. 냉간 시동과 온간 시동의 차이로 봐서, 엔진 열로 특정 부품이 영향을 받아 고온에서 제대로 작동하지 않는 것으로 예상. 엑셀 페달을 밟을 때 시동이 걸린다는 점에서 연료 분사 또는 공기 공급 시스템 관련 부품 점검 필요.

I bought one of these 3 years ago for £21k it had 19k miles on it and all factory options ticked aside from heated steering wheel and colour changing interior lights.For the money I could have bought a semi ropey 90k+ miles German saloon of similar spec and power and would have spend money fixing the higher mileage problems that they would have come with.As it stands, coming up to 37k miles I've paid for new tyres, brakes and a coolant bottle because it had a hairline crack the MOT history is and always has been a clear pass, not a single advisory and I get to hear a supercharged V6 every time
