Refreshing Chilled Custard Drink (Custard Sharbat)For a popular, thirst-quenching dessert drink perfect for hot daysWhisk 2 tablespoons of vanilla custard powder (e.g., Bird's Custard) into a small bowl with 1/4 cup of milk to form a smooth paste.Simmer: Heat 2 cups of milk on the hob with 3–4 tablespoons of sugar.Thicken: Gradually add the custard paste to the simmering milk, stirring constantly so it doesn't lump. Let it simmer until it thickens slightly.Chill & Serve: Remove from the heat, let it cool completely, and chill in the fridge for 2–3 hours. To get it to a drinkable consistency, blend the cold custard with ice cubes or extra chilled milk. Garnish with soaked basil (sabja) seeds, chopped dry fruits, or fresh fruit (mango, banana, apple).WIN!!
