증상
극저온(32°F 이하) 밤 후 아침에 시동을 걸 때 배터리가 "방전"되는 현상 발생. 2013 현대 제네시스 3.8L V6 4도어 세단. 시동 버튼을 누르면 클릭음이 난 후 모든 전력이 차단됨. 양(+) 배터리 케이블을 손으로 눌러주면 정상 작동
처리 내용
배터리 터미널 커넥터가 늘어나서 볼트를 완전히 조여도 헐거운 상태로 보임. 새 커넥터로 교체하는 것이 최선의 해결책. 또는 포스트와 커넥터 사이에 얇은 금속 시임을 끼워넣을 수도 있음. 배터리 포스트의 열팽창 계수가 높기 때문에 추운 날씨에 포스트가 수축하면서 부실한 핏의 커넥터가 충분히 헐거워져서 접촉 불량이 발생하는 것으로 추정됨.
