I've never owned any M3 but the E46 looks much more assertive than the E36, although I do really like the 4 door E36s! And the S54 is a fantastic engine. Edited by Mr Tidy on Friday 25th September 23:35

I suspect this car was a restoration cost too far for the owner and has to be sold to pay ML for the restoration. Aha, that could very well be the caseYes the regular body 3.5 is lovely too. I saw that Carl Cox bought one a few years ago. Pity they never built any Tourings though (that I know of anyway )It's not a particularly difficult engine swap to fit a 'big six' 3.5 into an E30, I've done it a couple of times.I knew someone who did it to his E30 Touring. It does make for quite a lively and very torquey E30.

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option

Still as subtle as a brick in your face. Not for me.

Other than a slightly bulky rear end, I think that looks fantastic. 9/10. And it's a saloon, not another bloody SUV - hurrah!
