증상
2006 현대 투산(Tiburon) 쿠페. 도랑에 빠뜨린 후 후방이 충격을 받음. 그 이후로 좌측으로 심하게 쏠리는 조향 문제 발생. 간헐적으로 조향이 불균형하고 무거워짐. 연비 악화. 추적(tracking) 점검과 서스펜션 점검에서는 이상 없음으로 판정됨.
처리 내용
4휠 얼라인먼트(wheel alignment) 재점검 필요. 특히 캠버(camber)와 캐스터(caster) 각도 점검을 명시해서 요청. 기술자에게 도랑 충격 사실을 명확히 설명할 것. 일반 타이어/정비소는 기본 tracking만 수행하므로 부족함. 이 경우 완전한 서스펜션 및 4휠 얼라인먼트 점검 필요. 동시에 모든 서스펜션 링크, 암(arm), 부시(bushing) 세밀하게 점검. 충격으로 인한 손상은 초기에 명확하지 않을 수 있으므로 철저한 검사 필요.
