One day there will most definitely be a sports EV, one with soul, (this maybe the start of it...) I don't think that's ever been in doubt.It won't be the same 'soul'... and losing the things that makes ICE great is sad.I prefer manual gearboxes and Iike a good noise... does it have to be an ICE noise? dunno I've yet to hear anything from an EV that sounds 'good'...the fact a lot of the noises are somewhat fake is also disappointing.And as I think Chris Harris said, its not so much that an ICE engine always sounds good, but its the rise and change in the noise as you increase revs that appeals... something for Sporty EV brands to bear in mind
