증상
연료 시스템(귀환 라인과 진공식 연료 압력 레귤레이터 포함)에서 진공이 공급되지 않을 때도 연료가 귀환 라인을 통해 흘러가는지 확인 필요. 스프링이 밸브를 닫고 있고 다이어프램에 진공이 적용되면 매니폴드 진공 양에 따라 밸브가 열리는데, 과도한 연료 압력만으로도 밸브가 강제로 열리는지 여부.
처리 내용
대부분의 자동차는 엔진/펌프 정지 후 연료 압력이 상당 시간 유지되어야 한다. 펌프 역류로 인한 누수가 의심된다. 펌프 후단에 체크볼이나 연료 역류를 방지하는 수단이 있어야 하며, 이것이 장시간 주차 시 라인 내 연료를 유지시킨다. 설명한 증상은 펌프 수명 말기를 나타낼 수 있다. 언급한 앰프 측정값 등은 정상 작동과 부합한다. 문제가 연료 레귤레이터에 있을 가능성은 낮다. 과도한 압력만 레귤레이터를 통과해야 한다. 진공식 FPR의 목적은 엔진 부하 변화를 고려하기 위함이다. 액셀을 밟으면 진공이 낮아지고, 진공이 낮아지면 FPR 압력이 올라간다. 이로써 더 많은 연료가 흐를 수 있게 된다.

Place one used bell and disc on passenger seat and use as XL cup holder. The centre bore looks like it’s the perfect diameter. Simples.
