증상
VW Golf 6 (2009) 1.4 TSI 122HP (CAXA 엔진) 기어박스 교체 필요. 기어박스 코드 LHY를 중고품 MCB 코드로 교체 가능 여부 확인. 동일한 엔진코드지만 기어박스 코드 다름.
처리 내용
기어박스는 엔진과 차체에 물리적으로 결합되지만 기어비, 기어 링키지, 드라이브샤프트 플랜지에 차이가 있을 수 있음. 동일 크기/무게 차량에서 나온 것이므로 기어비는 괜찮을 가능성 높음. 다음 3가지 확인: (1) 기어 링키지 - 레버 길이, 볼 조인트 크기 등이 같은지 확인 또는 기존 부품 교체, (2) 드라이브샤프트 플랜지 - 직경과 페이스에서 오일씰까지의 거리 측정하여 비교, (3) 위 3가지가 동일하면 장착 및 작동 문제없음.

As title, I've recently acquired a Mk2 Golf GTI 16v project. Car is a Jade Green late model small bumper 16v. I haven't got the original engine but the project came with a choice of two. I've got a 9A 2.0 16v engine from a Corrado and an ABF 2.0 16v engine from a Mk3 Golf. I'm pretty certain I'm going with the ABF engine but that decision is a long way off. Before then the car will need inner and outer sills, floor pans, inner and outer wings, front and rear valances plus all the usual bodywork repairs.
