증상
정비소에서 Mobil Super 3000 5W-40 엔진오일을 교환했는데, 차량 매뉴얼에서 Multi Air 시스템은 ACEA C3 이하 등급 또는 5W-40 이외의 SAE 등급 오일 사용 시 엔진 손상 가능성이 있다고 명시되어 있음. 사용된 오일은 ACEA A3/B3, A3/B4 API SN/SM AAE (STO 003) Group B6만 충족하며 ACEA C 등급 표기 없음.
처리 내용
즉시 오일을 교환해야 합니다. ACEA C3는 Low SAPS(저유황·저인·저회분) 오일로, 삼원촉매(Three Way Catalyst)와 입자상물질필터(DPF) 보호를 위해 설계되었습니다. 황화물, 인, 황이 배출가스 정화장치 효율을 저하시키기 때문입니다. 엔진이 연소 과정에서 소량의 오일을 소모하므로(눈에 띄지 않더라도), 제조사에서 C3 오일만 사용하도록 지정한 경우 반드시 따라야 촉매의 수명을 연장할 수 있습니다. 정비소에 차량 매뉴얼의 해당 페이지를 보여주고 부적절한 오일로 정비되었음을 알리십시오. 가능하면 잘못된 오일로 정비했다는 영수증도 제시하시기 바랍니다.
