2017 Honda CRV (FF, 21k miles). 원래 타이어 2개는 6/32 트레드 남음. 펑크로 인해 새 타이어 2개 교체됨. 첫 번째 새 타이어 후 TPMS 재설정 정상 작동. 두 번째 새 타이어 후 주행 수 마일 후 TPMS 경고 지속적으로 점등됨. TPMS 재설정 명령 후에도 경고 반복.
처리 내용
CRV는 ABS 센서와 소프트웨어로 TPMS 기능 수행. 타이어 직경을 측정하여 공기압 추정. 교체된 2개 타이어가 같은 브랜드/모델이 아니면 타이어 브랜드별 직경 편차로 TPMS 오작동 발생 가능. 같은 브랜드/모델 타이어인데도 발생하면 결함으로 간주. 해결책: 새 타이어 4개 구매 후 정기적으로 로테이션 권장.

With the untimely demise of my Honda CRV (rip), I needed a new daily. The Honda's been brilliant for the 3 years I'd owned it - long and short journeys, tip runs, shoot truck... It hadn't put a foot wrong and I still think they're cracking motors. Sadly, corrosion had taken its toll to the inner arches, resulting in an MOT failure, and a potential bill that was uneconomical.
