My missus instantly panics if she doesn't see around 800 miles on the range in the X5 for example! She was the same with the 600 mile range in the E90 330d way back when as well, and she's just used it now, and she just expects it after 20 years of running a diesel I think that's all. I don't do the distances like she does, so even this would be fine for me I reckon(even at a paltry 333 miles, and even my F82 M4 has a better range than this for example), but she has a bit of a mental block with electric to get over I think in comparison to me though. So you have to fill it up every 100 miles to make sure the range is at that level?What an existence that must be. Probably more fun than writing your own internal monologue on an EV thread AGAIN. I thought I was being mostly positive about electric in that post to be fair, and I was just saying that my missus preferred a longer range from a car that's all, and that she'll take a lot of persuading to switch to electric in comparison though.
