Fuel £2,800Tyres would have been a cost whatever car I bought.Insurance £600 a year.So your point is well made - if I were to side-grade to an EV (I refuse to call it an up-grade) I would be around £5,000+ a year out of pocket, thanks to depreciation.Is there an equivalent 2011 EV to make a valid comparison with? If so, the depreciation that you’re concerned about will probably also have happened on that too.
