The Arnage adventure started nearly a couple of weeks ago at this point, and I got back last night, so here's a little post about what we got up to. First stop was Portsmouth, firstly the train station to pick my other half up and then on to the ferryOnly right to get a photo with the Spinnaker tower whilst I had a chanceEasy enough into the portAnd then I spotted a vehicle you may remember from this thread. It's an old F350 that me/my dad owned briefly and that I later sold to a friend. He was on his way to Le Mans with friends. Great to see it (and hear that huge V8 diesel howl)We were on the overnight ferry to St Malo, which was just fine, and then motored down through France the next day to our overnight stop. San Sebastián is one of my favourite cities and it was great to drive to, with a great view over the city. Got a cab down into the city for a wander, some pintxos, and a walk along the beach. It really is a great place to visit, especially if you like being by the coast and good food. The next day we were off again, flying through northern Spain quite happily. Lots of bugs got sacrificed on the front end of the Bentley. Some 1,000+ miles after setting off, we arrived at our final destination, Portugal. There wasn't much of a plan at this point. Some friends had gotten there already after flying into Porto and had warned the gateway might not be wide enough for the Arnage. It was a squeeze.But we made it.We did do some driving around whilst there, such as the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus, Braga and Porto. The latter two show you some nice photos of underground car parks Amazingly all of the car parks were very pleasant and plenty of room for the Arnage too.Every Bentley deserves an adventureAnd a couple of days a go we set off back through Spain to the ferry.An easy route through northern Spain to Santander for the long crossing back to Portsmouth. The Arnage didn't miss a beat, it really is an excellent GT car.Home last night, got to tally up the full mileage fo
